 Fertility and Maternity Reflexologist

After many years of working in the environmental field I decided to have a major career change and started studying in the area of Reiki. I took three years in developing my knowledge in this area and became a Reiki Master in April 2009. This was just the beginning of a desire to improve my knowledge and understanding of Holistic Therapies and I went on to study at the well respected Practitioners School of Reflexologists with an ABC level 3 Diploma. Reflexology is my main therapy and it never ceases to amaze me on a daily basis. I started having regular reflexology treatments in April 2009 due to my own fertility issues. I had come off the contraceptive pill after 13 years in January 2009, however my periods had yet to return for several months. Having been diagnosed with endometriosis, polycystic ovaries and an under-active thyroid prior to this the likelihood that I was to conceive naturally were quite low. After 4 treatments of reflexology and research into my own cycle my periods started returning. By September 2009 my periods had come back regularly and within 3 months I fell pregnant. It was the best Christmas present ever. Reflexology also sent me into labour. As I was a week overdue I was a little fed up. Within an hour of the treatment my waters had broken and I was on my way to hospital. Due to my own fertility journey I have a real passion in this area to help others achieve their dream in becoming parents.

Fertility and Maternity Reflexologist

I retrained as a complementary therapist after spending many years working within a corporate sales environment. My interest in complementary therapies began many years ago when I experienced the positive effects of treatments first hand.  I found that my own health improved dramatically both physically and emotionally. When I had difficultly conceiving my first child, I turned to Reflexology and was pregnant with in 4 months.

I now offer a range of therapies, sometimes combining disciplines to achieve the best results for my patients. I have a special interest in helping women achieve health and balance, the hormonal system is delicate and can easily become irregular causing many problems for the individual.  I  strongly believe that hormone balance is essential to a woman’s overall health and well-being, greatly impacting her longevity and quality of life. I work with my patients to restore equilibrium.

Fertility and Maternity Reflexologist

I discovered Reflexology when I developed severe sinusitis and I had the good fortune of knowing someone who had trained in Reflexology. After just one treatment the sinusitis cleared up as well as leaving me feeling a lot more stress free.

This sparked my interest in this wonderful therapy and I decided to look into it further. In 2009 I undertook a professional practitioner training course at The Practitioner’s School of Reflexology in West London. I was extremely fortunate to have as my teacher Andrew James DIHOM, MAR, MIFA (Reg), ITEC a Reflexologist and Homeopath, with whom I passed my degree, in 2010, achieving a distinction. I have since been a member of the Association of Reflexologists (www.aor.org.uk).

I have further developed myself professionally and can now offer Maternity Reflexology,  Hot Stone Reflexology & Indian Head Massage. I am also a qualified Karuna and Usui Reiki Master Teacher enabling me to pass Reiki teachings onto others.

I am passionate about working with my clients so that they feel empowered to achieve their goals.
